The Step by Step Claim Process:

STEP 1: You inspect the severe storm, tornado or straight line wind damage to the roof and gutters of your home or commercial property.


STEP 2: You decide to move forward and file an insurance claim for exterior or interior leaks repair or roof replacement due to storm, tornado or straight line wind damage to your home or commercial property.


STEP 3: You do not report your claim to your insurance agent. Immediately upon recognizing there is storm, tornado or straight line wind damage to your home or commercial property, call your insurance companyís toll-free number to inform them that your family home or business has sustained damage.


STEP 4: You will be contacted by an insurance adjuster who represents your insurance company. He or she will set a date and time to visit to inspect the roof of your storm, tornado or straight line wind damaged home or commercial property.


STEP 5: You call Jeff Thorne, owner of MUSIC CITY EXTERIORS, and give him the appointment information to meet with your insurance adjuster.


STEP 6: Jeff Thorne will join you and the insurance adjuster to inspect the roof of your home or commercial property, evaluate the extent of the storm, tornado or straight line wind damage, and determine whether your insurance claim for roof repairs, gutter repairs, or roof replacement will be recognized as valid so MUSIC CITY EXTERIORS can start work on your property immediately.


STEP 7: MUSIC CITY EXTERIORS will be at your side through the entire insurance claim approval process. Jeff will negotiate with the insurance company for you. And, if your initial insurance claim for roof leaks, gutter repairs, or new roof is denied, he will guide you through your request for a second inspection which is guaranteed in your insurance policy. Mr. Thorne will also be present for that re-inspection appointment with your insurance adjuster.


STEP 8: Once your insurance claim has been approved, MUSIC CITY EXTERIORS will establish an immediate work schedule to repair your leaks, gutters, or install your new roof. Upon the completion of this work, your home or commercial property will be left safe, secure, and in excellent condition.


STEP 9: MUSIC CITY EXTERIORS will bill your insurance company for final payment to cover the roof repairs, gutter repairs, or roof replacement on your home or commercial property due to a severe storm, tornado or straight line winds.

STEP 10: Final payment will be mailed directly to you as the homeowner or business owner. MUSIC CITY EXTERIORS will then make an appointment to meet with you to collect their check, provide you with a balance invoice, and present you with your “We Cover Music City 10-Year Warranty Certificate.” We recommend that you file this document in the same location where you keep insurance policies for your home or commercial property.
