Water Damage? We can help you!

Music City Exteriors can help you with any water damage resulting from ice damming, flooding, roof/siding leaks, or burst plumbing pipes.

What is Water Extraction/Structural Drying?
Our water extraction/structural drying process removes the water from your property
to prevent mold and secondary water damage so you can begin to rebuild as fast as
possible. MCE will inspect the carpet, carpet pad, drywall, insulation, and flooring to
determine if it should be removed. Our goal is to remove only the material necessary to dry your property thoroughly. We use advanced moisture detectors and hydrometers to measure the amount of water in your building materials and then determine how much drying is necessary. Specialized equipment including high speed air movers and commercial grade dehumidifiers are used to remove water out of saturated building materials until they return to pre-loss levels of moisture.

Why is Water Extraction/Structural Drying Important?
After you experience a water loss your floors and walls can look dry at first glance, but they may still have water behind the areas that are visible. Most building materials such as drywall, insulation, and wood are porous and will soak up water. The retained water will cause these materials to be damaged from mold, warping, and general breakdown. MCE will manipulate temperature and relative humidity to remove the remaining moisture. Commercial grade dehumidifiers will help to prevent secondary water damage such as swelling and warping. Our high speed air movers create airflow which make the evaporation of moisture take less time.
